Stage 1

Q7 — Current Activity

Stage 2

Recommended — complete with your trainer

Aim: determine appropriate exercise prescription based on established risk factors. Flags below highlight thresholds from the APSS risk guidelines — they inform programming, they are not diagnoses.

Risk of an adverse event increases with age (males ≥ 45 yr, females ≥ 55 yr)
BMI (auto): — kg/m²
BMI ≥ 30 kg/m² increases the risk of chronic disease
Waist above threshold (>94 cm male / >80 cm female) increases risk of chronic disease
Systolic ≥ 140 or diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg increases the risk of heart disease
One or more lipid values exceed APSS thresholds (TC ≥ 5.2, HDL < 1.0, LDL ≥ 3.4, Trig ≥ 1.7 mmol/L)
Fasting glucose ≥ 5.5 mmol/L increases the risk of diabetes

Cancellation / Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please call Michael Lea on 0414 183 715. If I'm not in, be sure to leave a message. I will check availability and get back to you with confirmation of the rescheduled date and time.

12 hours notice is required for a cancellation or rescheduling in order to receive credit for the session. Failure to cancel within this time frame, or failure to show up for a session, will result in the client being charged for the session. Exceptions will only be made in the case of a medical emergency accompanied by a doctor's note.

All sessions are to be paid cash upfront for the week.
